One of the most important questions to consider when working near thermal hazards should be “Am I wearing the proper flame-resistant clothing”?

Outwork them all–Carhartt fr pants featuring Rugged Flex® move with you so you can focus on the task at hand, not your work clothing. Be prepared for whatever hand life deals you. When you need the best fire-retardant protection, you need the best flame resistant gear; you need Carhartt.
The use and availability of flame-resistant (FR) clothing have become much more common due to the continued development and updating of industry safety regulations and voluntary performance standards. NFPA 70E, a national consensus standard that establishes safety guidelines for workers exposed to electrical hazards, is a prime example. 70E has driven changes across numerous businesses and facilities where employees access electrical systems and energized components. Many sites contain a variety of electrical work hazards, illustrating the increasing call for FR clothing.
